1. Who we are

LyricHunt ("we", "us", "the App") is operated by Maksym Romanovych Horak, a registered private entrepreneur (FOP) under Ukrainian law — ФОП Горак Максим Романович, state registration record № 2010350000000578131 — Lviv, Ukraine ("the Operator").

2. Acceptance of these terms

By downloading, installing, or using LyricHunt, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use LyricHunt. The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under that age. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it.

4. The game

LyricHunt is a music quiz game. Players are shown masked song lyrics — partial, word-by-word revealed fragments used only to test recall and guessing skill — and guess the underlying words and song. LyricHunt does not display, store for client access, or otherwise provide full song lyrics. Full lyric text is never returned by the App to your device beyond what is needed to mask, score, and reveal individual words during active gameplay. Song metadata (title, artist, album art, duration) is licensed or sourced from third-party catalog providers and is used to identify tracks, not to reproduce copyrighted text.

5. Accounts

• You may use LyricHunt as a guest, identified only by an anonymous device identifier, with no account required.
• You may optionally create an account via Google Sign-In or by email (a one-time code sent to your inbox — no password required). Creating an account lets you keep your progress across devices and unlocks account-tier features.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of any device, email inbox, or Google account used to access LyricHunt.
• You may delete your account and associated data at any time from within the App (Settings → Account → Delete Account). See our Privacy Policy for what deletion does.

6. Premium subscriptions and purchases

• Optional premium features are sold as in-app purchases processed exclusively through Google Play Billing. We do not process payment card details ourselves and do not have access to them.
• Pricing, billing cycles, refunds, and cancellations for purchases made through Google Play are governed by Google Play's own Terms of Service and refund policies. To request a refund, use Google Play's refund process.
• Premium entitlements are tied to the Google Play account that made the purchase and are verified server-side; entitlements may be revoked if the underlying purchase is refunded, charged back, or found invalid by Google Play.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate access to the App or its backend services beyond normal gameplay;
• attempt to extract, reconstruct, or redistribute full song lyrics from the App's masked-lyric gameplay;
• use the App to violate any applicable law or infringe any third party's intellectual property rights;
• interfere with the App's scoring, energy, or progression systems (e.g. exploiting bugs to gain unfair advantage) or with other players' experience;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms.

8. Intellectual property

• The LyricHunt app, its design, branding, game mechanics, and original content are owned by the Operator or its licensors.
• Song titles, artist names, album artwork, and lyric fragments displayed in the App remain the property of their respective rights holders. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of that content to you or to the Operator.

9. Third-party services

LyricHunt uses third-party services to operate, including but not limited to Google Sign-In, Google Play Billing, Google-hosted analytics, and public music-metadata/lyrics APIs. Your use of those integrations is also subject to the relevant third party's own terms. See our Privacy Policy for the full list of processors and what data each one receives.

10. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence, where applicable).

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict of law principles. This does not deprive you of any mandatory consumer protections you are entitled to under the law of your country of residence, where applicable.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
